1988 Freightliner Pump truck

1988 Freightliner pump truck. Tank is custom built out of a propane tank. We completely refurbed the tank for this application. We cut out all the bungs and old parts and welded plates in of the same spec as the material tank is made of. We designed the tank and frame work so it can be transferred to another truck later on in life if need be. The tank has been DEQ inspected and passed with no issues. The tank was powder coated inside and out to ensure longevity of the tank and bed. The truck is a 1988 Freightliner FLC with a 400 big cam engine that has been gone thru. It has a 9 speed transmission. Good rubber all the way around. All new brakes and drums installed all the way around. New slack adjusters and cams. To many new parts to list them all. It has 300 foot of hose on it and it has a 6 inch valve for dumping. it takes about 4.5 minutes to drain the tank on the 6 inch valve. We also installed a sample valve so you can have the ph tested without having to crack the other valves. No mess that way. tank will hold 3000 gallons. It has a Fruitland pump on it and parts are easily obtained in Tulsa. The tool box is built for all your long tools and hose racks are installed in it. Everything but the tool box and the drivers personal belongings will go with the truck. This meaning all hoses, garden hoses, rake ,shovel, probe. It has only had about 10 septics pumped on it since it has been in operation. We built this truck in our Diesel Repair and Fab shop with the intentions of putting a driver in it and pumping tanks. We have decided to focus on our Diesel Repair and fab shop rather then start another business.
